CALVESBERT LAW LLC was formed by Paul E. Calvesbert, Esq. as a continuation of the first law firm he formed in 1981 bearing his name and in which he was the managing partner.

Some matters are referred to us by U.S. and foreign law firms that wish the Firm to assist in handling their clients' matters in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin and South America. The proximity of San Juan to other islands in the Caribbean and our accessibility to Central and South America attracts interest in our investigative and legal services.

The Firm has developed a strategic alliance with, outside counsel, who act as counsel to the Firm and handle corporate, tax, financial transactions, banking, real estate and regulatory matters.

In civil litigation matters, the attorneys appear in all courts in Puerto Rico and at the federal level, in the U.S. District Court for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in Boston. The attorneys can also be admitted pro hac vice in Federal Court anywhere in the United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Firm is equipped with state-of-the-art word processing software and computer equipment. Legal research is performed in-house with the Firm�s library, or electronically on the Internet.
